The Adventurers Chapter 1 and Chapter 2

Chapter 1

The Adventurers

The Journey Begins.

At last all the documents are ready and the suitcases are packed,Happy Heart,Squarky the Toucan and Ruby Rabbit are all safely strapped in for their exciting journey.

                               What can we see at Singapore Airport?        

It was a long journey in the plane and they were happy to have a look around the Airport Terminal when they got to Singapore. It was very late at night and they should have been sleeping but this was time for an adventure.

Happy Heart found something delicious and the same colour as him!

Ruby finds some beautiful flowers. They are called Singapore Orchids. There are so many of them.

Squarky flies up into a tall palm tree to have a better look.

He can see lots of people who who are not sleeping either. They are walking around waiting for their planes too. Some are working on computers. There is a big sign that says Changi Airport.

Soon it is time to get back on the plane for the long flight to Russia. They are very tired but now they can have a good sleep for the next 10 hours.

Goodnight Ruby Rabbit. Goodnight Happy Heart. Goodnight Squarky!

                                   A New Home and a New Friend

Squarky ruffled up his feathers when he got off the plane near Moscow. It was much colder than Singapore.

Ruby rubbed her sleepy eyes and Happy Heart kept smiling as he was very excited. He had heard that there is a place somewhere in Moscow called Red Square and he longed to see it. That was an adventure for another day. Today they all had to find a new home. 

Ruby looked at the map to see where they had to go.

After a long drive they found the town that was on the map. It was much warmer now so Squarky was  much  happier. There is our new home shouted Happy Heart.

    Hooray they all said together! Squarky was wondering what he would be able to see out of the high windows.

We will live on the 4th floor he said!

Meeting a New Friend.

What a surprise to find a new friend waiting for them.Ferik smiled and welcomed them. he had a funny white beard and a small hat on his head. he had been waiting there for them for a long time he said.
They had another surprise. Bill the Platypus had been tucked away at the bottom of the suitcase hiding. He had slept all the way from Brisbane!
Now they were all together on the window sill where they could look out and see all kinds of things.
Happy Heart is excited and he can't wait to get to that place called Red Square! 

But first there is some serious Russian study to be done!

Chapter 2


Ruby Rabbit, Squarky and Happy Heart visit Moscow.

What an exciting day. Happy Heart, Squarky and Ruby have a long ride on a very crowded bus. Then they get tickets for the fast train on the Grey Line on the Moscow Metro. The train is full of people and it traveled very fast. When they got out at the station in Moscow, they had to get on a long escalator to get up to the street.



The train line is a long way down underground. Happy Heart smiled when he looked out the window of the building near the station. 

He could see a big white building that was a library and many shining domes on the top of other buildings. Ruby pointed to where Red Square was in the distance. They would not have time to see that today.  

That was an adventure for another day. The 3 Adventurers sat on the window sill and peered out at the 
busy city.
